Dear manufacturers,

Thunderball has implemented an automated image extraction process whereby manufacturers photos can be extracted from their web sites. Please participate by placing your photos in one accessible image subdirectory with either directory browsing available or links to existing pages within your web site. We will automatically scan your web site and extract the photos for reprint.  Please try to maintain a consistent naming convention so that the image names can be recognized by association with their respective model number. Where possible please ask your webmaster or database administrator to publish a web page containing all product information in tab delimited or comma delimited format and provide us with the internet URL.

In those cases where you can provide us with such images and product information directly please follow the instructions below. Thank you.

To provide the most useful service to our customers and best presentation of your products manufacturers are requested to forward to our graphics department the following Items:

  • Product list updates in any database format shown below in the order of our preference:
  1. Publish a database copy to your outbound web server directory and we will download it periodically
  2. Lotus Approach or DB or DBF whole database
  3. Comma Delimited OR TAB Delimited (First row contains field names) this is an export option from many database programs
  4. Microsoft Access
  5. Lotus 123
  6. Microsoft Excel
  7. Fixed length Text OR HTML Pages
  8. Fax to 212-645-5605 Attention: Tass or Mail to

  • The product list needs to contain as much of the following as possible:
  1. Item Model Number
  2. Item Category
  3. Item Title Name (One Short Descriptive sentence)
  4. Item Long Description with key selling points shown first
  5. Item Shipping Weight each in Lbs
  6. MSRP AND MAP
  7. Item  Carton Quantity
  8. Cubic Size of master carton
  9. Item Photo
  • The preferred medium for transmission
  1. Extracted by a published page via the web
  3. DVD or CD
  4. 100 MB ZIP
  5. Floppy Disc
  • Image Requirements as One large photo and one small
    (150 x 171 Pix optional). In order of our preference:
  1. Place in Image Subdirectory on your company web server with model numbers as filenames appended with the appropriate image extension.
  2. Images formatted as JPG
  3. Images formatted as  BMP
  4. Images formatted as  TIF
  5. Images formatted as  GIF

It is very simple. Providing us with this information will SELL MORE OF YOUR PRODUCTS.
